One of the really great features of Swift is its ability to be used not only as a compiled language but also as a scripting language. This allows us to execute Swift scripts without the need to compile them first and outside of XCode. In this post we will look at how to create and execute Swift scripts.
RSNetworking is a network library written entirely in the Swift programming language. RSNetworking is built using Apple’s powerful URL Loading System. The main design goal of RSNetworking is to make it easy and quick for developers to add powerful asynchronous networking requests, to their applications written in Swift. This post will walk you though creating an app that will search iTunes using Apple's search API and display the results in a UITableView using the new RSNetworking library.
